I used to have Xplane a long time ago, but it didn't look like that. Might have to treat myself. What spec is your PC? Just so I know if it will look as good on mine.

Just visited their website. Thought you were posting screenshots from your PC #-o

My lad has taken on the development of the VC10 for x-plane from the original designer and is currently sorting out the flight characteristics and the position of the pods on the wing. Starting to look like thereal thing now.

have to say Rick, that's MOST impressive.

i just wish i had a FAR better graphics card on this 'ere laptop so that i could whack the settings up to that level of quality :(

< makes mental shopping list of pooter with 10GB RAM, you-can't-bend-it graphics card, B-I-G monitor - and a surplus VC10 nose-section to play it all in :D >

teensy weensy thought here - realising that MS and Mac are totally different, and that FS9/FSX are incompatible with each other - could we FS players link up with X-plane FS through FSHostClient? ;)

Yes. there is even a Virtual airline that operates in both FS and X-plane.
http://www.freeworld-airways.net
Have a look around that site for more information.
As far as i can remember we X-plane users use this...

have you tried FSHostClient to see if it works with X-Plane? as you Mac users are probably in the minority ( :p ) it might be worth a go \:D/

That is amazing. What chip and graphics card is he running?

He is running a standard 20 inch iMac 2.6GHZ 2GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce 9400M graphics.
If you look at the X-plane website it will give you the PC Specs required to run it.
It does run just as well on my MacBook 2.4GHZ 2 GB RAM Intel GMA X3100 graphics.
