Lovely little aircraft :)

Unfortunately, nothing can be done. All the gauges are pre FS2004 and dont work with FSX. Ive tried searching for updated gauges, but no luck :(

I own FS2004 (because my laptop won't agree with FSX :( ) but these are some of the goodies that I've downloaded and that I own.

Payware

Precision Manuals 747-400
Precision Manuals 737NG
LevelD 767-300
Just Flight A340-500/600
Cloud9 LAX
UK2000 Heathrow
SSTIM Concorde - Stunning aircraft in amazing detail, which in turn makes it an incredibly difficult plane to fly!

Freeware
Project Opensky 777-200/ER
Project Opensky 757-200
Project Opensky CRJ700
Project Opensky Embraer ERJ 145
Project Opensky A340-200/300
Project Opensky A330-200/300
Project Airbus A319, A320

As you can tell, lots of Project Opensky stuff. I think, in terms of freeware modern aircraft, you can't get any better than what these guys are producing. I supplement these planes with sounds by Devyn Silverstein. If you want some realistic sounding GE90's, Trent 800's or Pratt and Whitney 4000's to go along with your 777's, his work is fantastic, and best of all free!

Precision Manuals for payware are great too, brilliant cockpit detail, fully functioning FMC's with SID/STAR's. Once you've learnt how to fly them, it's very rewarding. Nothing like planting a 747-400 on the tarmac after an eight-hour flight :D

I make sure to download all the sound files for these planes - with their JT8D-7's roaring they sound brilliant :D

I actually spent a week doing work experience with British Airways' technical department, I helped with a complete overhaul for a 737-200 that was being sold to a middle eastern airline.

I got to sit in the captains seat of a DC10 and a Boeing 747 too!

It was amazing.
