Flight planning...

Postby Saracenman » Mon Oct 13, 2008 5:08 pm

how about a thread where we sad simmers can propose sortie plans?

Mayfly, Wedgy and i plan to be on FSX gamespy tomorrow - late morning ok?

or are you ready Mayfly to add a further level of complexity to FSX and install the addon that will allow sorties with FS9 users? :D

SM I thnk I need a bit of practice before I try to compete with those who have flown for a while - having you & Wedgy wetting yourselves is bad enough =))

I am on nights now until next Sunday, so can't join in. Even so, Gayspy won't cooperate with me and the only way I can play is via FSHost. I'll keep looking here to see when there are flights planned. Just thought, no more whisky until next Sunday :((

i had a good sortie this evening with Mert and Jigsaw - in New Zealand. lovely scenery :)

IanM - i didn't see you on there - have you been looking for a multi-player session within FSX/Gamespy or on the FSHostClient server?

Just got to put some shopping away, and I will be on flight sim just after 11am.

Will set up a host game called "Iconic aircraft Flights" within Gamespy.
I will also try running FSHost at the same time to see if we can link them.

Do you have service pack 1 and accelerator pack (or Service pack 2) installed?

Okay, well SM, Mayfly and I have the acceleration pack installed. This costs ££, unless you can find it via "other" means. So I would recommend using FShost instead mate, actually it is more flexable than gamespy. Once Mayfly has had some practise in, we will move over to FShost (although I have both running, like I did today).

Have a look at SM's stick in this area about Multiplayer stuff and download from there :)
