Introducing myself

Postby Wimvanwesterop » Sat Feb 05, 2011 2:23 pm

Hello aviation friends,
I had the good fortune of having worked in aviation history for most of my life having been director and curator of the dutch AVIODOME aviation museum which used to be at Schiphol airport. I retired in 2005 after the museum was tranferred to Lelystad airport (now named AVIODROME).
After retirement I did not loose my interest in aviation although I am no longer anywhere near the centre. Now I am a collector of flight helmets having assembled a nice collection through the obvious assistance of Ebay and the web. And I keep an eye on the aircraft preservation communities - just for the joy it brings.
Look forward to contacts this forum will bring!

Good to have you along with us.

I wouldn't be so self-centred as to suggest a particular organisation. Just go to our Links section and take your pick.

PS the top of the list is the best. ;)

However, the one with the most re-directs is CLEARLY the most popular! ;)
