Ey oop from Yorkshire!

Introduce yourself here!

Ey oop from Yorkshire!

Postby Jakspeed » Sun Oct 09, 2011 9:48 am

Hi Everyone!

I've had Iconic recommended to me by several people so I thought it was time I got registered! :)

My name is Jacqui and I hail from East Yorkshire. I've got an avid interest in anything with an engine in - the bigger the better! I think my interest in aircraft comes from my Dad who used to be in the RAF and built model planes for me to play with and fly when I was a nipper (long time ago now!).
My main interest is Vulcan XH558 but I also adore the A10 Tankbuster and Tornado and am a big fan of the Blades.

I own 3 classic Cortinas and 4 Maine Coon cats, although one has been adopted and doesn't live with me, long story. :(

I already know a few people on here so looking forwards to meeting some more! ;)

Ay up.............. :D

I am from east Yorkshire too........... ;)

Like you my late father was in the RAF, and I did a 12 year stint too.

I have had an aviation interest for a few years, well a lot really.

I hope that enjoy your time at the nut house................. :ymdevil:

Welcome, the county of Yorkshire is well represented on here now, as it should be, gods county and all that.

Hello Jacqui and welcome to IA. Aaaaahhhhh, Cortinas. I had two White MkII's: a 2-door 'F' reg (between1971 and 1973) and a 4-door 'H' Reg (between 1973 and 1978). Then a Red 'X' reg, Mk V (between 1981 and 1985). Lovely cars!
