Gidday Folks

Postby Nuuumannn » Thu Dec 29, 2011 3:12 am

New member here, still working my way through things (can't find the place to create a signature in the UCP!).

I'm located in deepest darkest New Zealand, but have lived abroad in a number of countries, including the UK, where I worked in aviation museums. I'm currently employed as a line maintenance engineer on domestic airliners but I have a keen interest in many aircraft favoured in this forum, including this one.

Looking forward to getting to know you guys.

Cheers,

Welcome to IA

I've been to NZ a couple of times and perhaps again later this year or early next. You have a very rich aviation culture.

Slightly O/T [not unusual for IA]

Do you have an update of the Avspecs Mozzie?

Thread here

I read somewhere she was rolled out the hangar last week.

Thanks for the welcomes, Guys. As for the Avspecs Mossies (plural) Jerry Yagen's is on its wheels and was rolled out for an impromptu photo shoot recently. Take a look here:

https://www.facebook.com/pages/Avspecs- ... 0429995732

I'm nowhere near there; I got this link from another forum, but I'm looking forward to seeing it fly soon. There is an Avro Anson I being restored to flying condition not far from me.

There's a link to it taxying on youtube somewhere.

Oh, and Season's Greeting everyone.
