Hello all

Introduce yourself here!

Hello all

Postby Varcs » Wed Apr 18, 2012 12:15 pm

I came across this forum via a retweeted link and have been quite impressed by the relative maturity of people on here's views! Particularly on a project I will be involved in, which gave me heart.

My main love is classic jets, particularly those with lots of noise attached, but I love all forms of aviation in some small way (My current favourite Icon is a twin engined beauty). In fact, I am located in the middle of 5 airports/airfields in Hampshire, and my closest is less than a mile away but the least accessible!

speak to you soon I hope

Welcome to IA Varcs,

Maturity???????? sorry but you must be viewing a different forum to me. =)) =)) =))
We are generally mature but are prone to childish outbursts.
Great bunch on here really. Please leap in and join the banter.

There is no such thing as a stupid question so don't feel embarrassed to ask.

Howdy, "V" :D

Maturity might not be our strong suit,
in fact there are probably quite a few
on here that don't even OWN a suit!

I have a few, though, and you are Very Welcome!!!!!!!!!!

I'm just part of a team. The project is in its very early days and is still being organised and put together. There is a long road to go down and I'm not going to come on here to search for compliments, in case I get stung! Besides there is a perfectly good thread already started on it! And, my part in it is very small compared to some.

If your forum is as good as it seems I'm certain there will be many occasion to forward reports and photo's here!

we ARE as good as it seems and restoration projects get lots of encouragement here.

updates are VERY welcome. Some one will eventually suggest an IA visit to see how it's all progressing. There is no negativity with these things unlike some of the other fora around.

You restore it and we will praise your collective efforts. If it fails we will shed a tear with you. (If we can't help save it on the way)!!
