Now don't go mad - your name and the restoration date is the first priority :D :p

What a great day today I haven't been running the loco very much lately as I have been very busy on other projects however I did run a while back and had some issues at which point I decided to update the seals on the loco a bit of an update well it turns out it was a great thing to do as it now works very well indeed so here are some pics I took today.
It's hard to describe the improvement but driving a steam train is a bit of a balancing act of heat, steam pressure and water it was very hard to keep it running as one of the three would cause problems now however it is quite hard to loose pressure or not have enough water so in a word awsome :)

now depending on when you think the build date is (tradtionally when the frames get cut) its actually 1963 or 1965 so its well over half a century old.
time to get Brass etching again. :)
