Bournemouth (Hurn) 28th & 29th Aug

Postby Stigish » Sun Aug 29, 2010 10:03 am

I popped over to the airfield yesterday as the Typhoon display team were camped out here for the weekend & to see if they had moved 558 yet. I took some pics and I was fortunate enough to be there just as one of the Typhoons was leaving for its display at the Dartmouth Royal Regatta.

I'm back over Bournemouth today to see 558 Depart and fingers crossed the Typhoons will still be there too as they're not displaying at Dunsfold until 3ish. More pics/Vids to follow..............I hope :D

Good man, nice to see you caught one of the Typhoons with the commemorative WW2 code on the tail!

I didn't even notice that! I was paying the other one more attention as they were getting it ready to depart. Thanks :-BD

You might have seen it, just not on the right side....

Apparently, the markings were applied to only one side of the jets, so you might have been looking at the wrong side! ;)

I wanted to, but the kids didn't :( . Seeing as its the last week before school, I had to give in too.
We did however go to Lulworth Castle today, which was a very good day out, so every cloud and all that :)

If I get round to sorting them, I might post some pics later of the Jousting & Falconry displays they put on :D ...........

Thanks Oli, most of the pics I posted here were stills taken from the Videos I shot. I've been practicing my filming techniques seeing as I've got the Full HD option on my DSLR and I need to perfect that steady hand to keep ol' Spitters happy ;) :p :D
Post them up, we don't criticise anyones pics here (I think :p ). If you made the effort, put them on here..........
