Yes, you make a good point there! ;)

One that swung it for me personally. Being the day of my birth too - having LMW in tow, don't fancy a bit the ensuing bun-fight.

Don't begrudge the swelling coffers this will hopefully bring to everyone else at Brunty :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

I wont be heading up there next weekend unfortunately, partly because I think it will end up being packed and loose a bit of its charm. But also I'd forgotten it was the bank holiday and I'm over on the IOW for the weekend. Major 40th anniversary gala at the IOW steam railway.

I really hope it isn't too packed :p :D =)) , mainly because every year we always rock up about two acts in =)) =)) =)) But I am a bit worried that we'll get there and we'll be the other end of the car park then my mum will be in a right strop for the rest of the day which puts me in a bad mood :( :( :))

I'm adding sausage rolls to my hamper too btw ;) as well as cup cakes :D :D

Can we have a better discription please.

I don't like the definition of the word being used to describe the happy band. :((

Urban Dictionary: pillock
Noun for Idiot, fool. Originally a slang term for the penis but fairly inoffensive now its this meaning has been forgotten. Derog. ref British Slan...
http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=pillock :ymblushing:

Etymology

The origin of pillock is believed to go back to the 16th century meaning penis[1] from the Norwegian word pillicock, presumably akin to the slang dickhead meaning inept fool[2] :-o

It came from when RLN called Xpl a pillock, then it eventually went into Xpl saying
thats four of us then.
After a few more posts I said something along the lines of
Who else is going to join our gang of pillocks
- referring to a 'creation' of a gang of pillocks and not all of those going on the 29th ;)

So basically you can go to brunty and not be therefore called a pillock.

I hope you understood that - as i don't think i worded it very well (like most things I say :)) )

Latest from the Tuesday news byte regarding CWJ day.

Following various requests for details, we would like to clarify what will be happening during XH558's presence at the Cold War Jets Day at Bruntingthorpe on Sunday 29th May.

We now understand that the crowd will be repositioned away from the runway on Sunday afternoon so as to meet our safety requirements, so subject to this and other safety conditions being fulfilled, we will be able to take off on the Sunday with the crowd present.

I'm in two minds about this, great that we get to see her take off, but how far back will the crowd line be?
(Not complaining, just curious :D )

Although it could be a good thing for me, I might get a whole lightning in my view finder with out having to zoom out and reveal my crack for once =)) =))

Helen form what I've read it appears that the crowd will be moved back before 558 takes off, and I think CAP 403 states they must be 75 metres from the runway.
