A new era for IA

Anyone feel that? :D
At 1930hrs on 13/07/18 we moved to a new server.

The server is 30% of the cost of the old hosting, but does has over 70% less functionality- so please remember that if the forums are not as responsive as they used to be.

The old servers die in just over 2 weeks - but everything is already transferred over.

We are now 80% self suffencient based on subscriptions - so our future is pretty much secure.

I took on board all the comments from the "end of life" thread, but do you know what? Its nice to think some things dont have to change - and thats what drove me to get this done. I did it quietly and in a hold your breath moment pressed THE button :D

Well Done Wedgy.
In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.

Pressed the button on Friday the 13th. Very brave, Wedgy. :ymapplause: :ymapplause:

Will the web address move across, or do we need a new link?

XM655 has four of them, all serviceable.

Some links still not working Sooty? DNS takes up to 24hrs to update, so I will only worry if some images/links don't work after this evening :)

My badly phrased question, but you've answered it anyway. The DNS stays the same. :)

A moment today to remember the old server which I am pressing the kill switch on this morning (12 days earlier than 'end of life' so we avoid another billing cycle).
