Popped over to Salisbury Hall for the first time this morning , very interesting museum
First the Mossies
FBVI undergoing restoration .

The 1st Prototype W4050 also undergoing restoration .
It was built in a Hangar which stood where the car park is now








The other exhibits










Airspeed Horsa remains , the prototypes were also built at Salisbury Hall in a hangar which stood were the Sea Vixen , Dove , Venom and DH-125 are parked

or are they all for display only??????

I think there's one in NZ and one in Canada
to be flown in the near future....

I've always liked that a significant percentage
of Mossies ran Packards !

Made my first visit there a couple of months' back.


Unfortunately it was closed.

Really must arrange to go when it's open.

Eventually visited a couple of weeks back.
Lucky to have all three Mossies outside.

Great museum and I'm planning a return soon. So much to see.

I'll post some pictures if I can work out how.
