I'm hearing A LOT of different variations, but, as I understand it (And this is BY NO MEANS WHAT WILL ACTUALLY HAPPEN) We're keeping Bob, 147 is being taken apart and roaded to Cosford.

Any spares that we currently have (And that is a lot) that nobody wants to buy, will be kept for keeping Bob alive as long as possible

Does RAF still have any spares, plans
and all that stuff???

If so, what do they plan to do with it???

I imagine, anything the RAF has left will go for sale through the DSA. That's what usually happens

Well, I hope Mister Walton is sufficiently
interested to cough up the cash to buy
the things which will be required...

It would be nice if Brunty could become
at least somewhat of Funbus Central,
after all....

Are they bothering to save anything off
the scrappers, btw?

HOPE SO :D !

Great shots, Gaz. Did you notice the hush as she touched down? People were definitely saddened by the occasion.
And full marks to David Walton for personally removing the barriers as she had parked and telling us to go and have a closer look. That was great. So sad to see the end of such a lovely aircraft.
Fingers crossed for BOB, you never know..... ;)
