Now there's a coincidence ;)

Picture 1 is Sea King number 20 based at RNAS Culdrose ....

I've been winched in to (with a crewman) and out of (on my own) that very helicopter at a charity event ...

Quite an experience ... you don't realise how a 10 ton helicopter stays aloft till you've been directly under it and experienced 11 tons of air coming down at you ... it makes you appreciate the skill of winchmen :D :D

Number 20 also brought the Olympic flame to Lands End in 2012....

And here I am in a holiday cottage at Alnmouth daily seeing RAF Bulmer search & rescue helicopters flying
overhead, Thank goodness we have them.... :ymapplause:
