35mm Film Fun

Postby Olicat » Thu May 30, 2013 4:29 pm

Have finally got a film camera, batteries and film so went out yesterday around Poole to have some fun. Was my first time with film and, obviously being used to digital I kept 'chimping' (looking at the back of the camera to see the result :)) ) Shot an expired roll of 24 which was found in one of the film canisters and, all 24 came out just how I wanted them to!

And what I loved the most, being able to give a modern structure a classic 'film look'!

Well that's interesting.your first time with film ? personally I don't miss film ,it's nice to be able to review what you take straight away instead of that horrible wait to see if they come out like you hoped .let alone the cost ! still good pics though !

Yep, I see it as being good practice - it makes you think about the shot more instead of pointing and shooting without any forethought and just relying on playback to check what you've got (although I did still try =)) ) It was probably more fun than digital too, and I can't wait to shoot my next roll of film!
