First Ever Dreamliner at BHX VT-AND

So yesterday saw a piece of history at Birmingham(BHX) as the start of a new scheduled service between India and Birmingham began.

The service which will run Mondays,Tuesdays,Thursdays and Saturdays and will be only the second scheduled service in the UK to exclusively operate the 787 Dreamliner so they will be a regular sight from now on at the UK's second City Airport. With the runway extension being completed in 2014 and plans for a second runway could this be the start of big things for BHX?

So bang on time 17:55 we all got our first sight















It was a very busy day yesterday at BHX(which i will cover in another post) it was just one after another!



There was even a fanfare reception for the first 787 although I was at the other end of the airfield!

I personally believe the Dreamliner will
ultimately become a workhorse on this
and many other routes world-wide over
many years...

I think even MOD might fly on one some day
