The latest is that it looks like the First Officer deliberately crashed it.

More importantly what was going on in the troubled mind of that young man - Andreas Lubitz - who seemingly took 150 people to their deaths with him.
I found the plane on Flightradar within an hour of hearing about the crash and tracked its final moments and said to my wife 'that's not right' - it seemed very suspicious to me even as a layman - starting to descend - seemingly under control - from almost immediately after reaching cruising altitude - it almost seemed to fly at speed into the ground.. the potential suicide of the young pilot fits with this I suppose ... we will never really know though..
