Good afternoon to you all. Firstly may i wish you all a very Happy New Year. Some of you may have heard of us, others not so let me give you a brief overview. The birth of this project happened on the Social Media site Twitter a few months ago now when i commentated on the amount of interest being shown for the V Force. I coined the 'hash tag' (#) #twitterVforce to be able to get like minded people together and share their interests. This became so popular that I set up a 'blog' page. After a visit alongside Dave Taylor, XM655MaPS Volunteer and 'Tweetmaster' for @XM655, to Wellesbourne to visit XM655 came the emergence of the Official twitterVforce website - www.twittervforce.com and a brand new twitter account @VForceHQ, both launched in October 2012 and since then things have gone from strength to strength, with input from fellow enthusiasts submitting items for our blog page, issuing breaking news from Andre Tempest and the team looking after 'Lusty Lindy' Victor XL231 up at Elvington and receiving exclusive images for our use by Mr John Falk, son of R.J 'Roly' Falk.
For 2013 we are actively promoting our official chosen charity - Victoria Cross Trust (@VCTrust) and looking forward to promoting as much as possible for all of the V Force. Thanks for taking the time to read this and i am looking forward to contributing to this wonderful forum. Rod (@ROD558) - twitterVforce Promoting Cold War Preservation Groups
