Wedgy wrote:Okay, well SM, Mayfly and I have the acceleration pack installed. This costs ££, unless you can find it via "other" means. So I would recommend using FShost instead mate, actually it is more flexable than gamespy. Once Mayfly has had some practise in, we will move over to FShost (although I have both running, like I did today).

Have a look at SM's stick in this area about Multiplayer stuff and download from there :)

Ah ha!! Having done a bit of searching around, I have now found SP2 which apparently addresses "Multiplayer compatibility with Flight Simulator X: Acceleration"

I'll give that a go.

haha I did Waddington to Scampton yesterday afternoon, a short trip for landing practice - when I came in I thought this doesn't look like Scampton then discovered it was Wickenby - ahem - slight misdirection me finks :ymblushing:

IanM, I tried to join you last night on FSHostClient. When I tried to jump to your position, it said you weren't in a plane. :(

RLN, sorry I was afk when you join earlier, no need to ask if you can join, just jump right in. Currently I am flying across the mountains on the eastern side of the USA.

Didn't get this until 23:24. Tried again but it said you weren't in a plane. If you had logged off you wouldn't have been found on the server. I tried to jump to your position, but that was the message I got. That happened with IanM earlier in the week.

I was afk on and off, maybe when the flightsim was paused it gave FSHost the impression that I wasn't there. It was actually the mountains to the west, not east, I was flight fatigued when I made my post lastnight :p
