Room will be open from just before 8pm I guess :)

All tested, if you have a Vulcan but not the IRIS vulcan, it will substitute for a Vulcan anyway ;)

flight plans are fairly straight forward - as long as you know where you want to go! :p

agreed re the sortie - superb fun! i would like to make it clear, before Wedgy posts his comments, that i had awful trouble with my graphics on approach for landings - my screen kept freezing :((

Scramble Stats
Distance travelled: 587nm
Flight Time: 4 hours 10 mins
SM 4 crashes
Nickolas 1 crash
Tom.com 2 crashes
Wedgy 1 crash

On a personal note, I am genuinely gutted at crashing on landing at Northolt. Wasn't so much of a crash, more just a heavy landing - didn't even look like I crashed, but FSX obviously thought I did :( I guess it was pilot fatigue at that stage :((
I had nursed 558 through 1.5 tanks of fuel and thought of this sortie as one of endurance. :(( :((

Still great fun though - MUST do it again :D

Well my 2.5 hour guess was a little low then must try harder =)) =)) .Tried to join last night from Edinburgh to Carlisle but once on Gamespy The Iconic link wouldn't let me in locked and asked for the sesion password .would that have been because my username wasnt on the list at the time.

Thats a shame HH. Sometimes gamespy 'remembers' a password from weeks ago even though there is none. If it ever prompts you, it will always be "arse" ;)

I too thought it would be 2.5 hours, but I think the fastest it can be done is around 3.5 hours. The more people join, the slower it is due to waiting for everyone at the next location + this time we had to wait 4 times for SM to restart =))

it was dreadful - completely unflyable! X(

i must admit though that my crashing into the control tower last night was largely shite flying, but the other bent Vulcans were simply due to the graphics freezing on approach - when unfrozen again, i was six inches off the deck! =))

today, with only Wedgy and me, was even worse - i sat completely frozen in my Meteor at the end of the runway, whilst Wedgy took-off, did a circuit and landed! ~x( X( :((

anyway, some screenies...

the four of us before taking off from somewhere, to somewhere else
