Question for Bovril...

Postby Saracenman » Tue Mar 31, 2009 10:43 pm

Bovril, i couldn't resist the Iris Vulcan :ymblushing:

it flies BEAUTIFULLY, even if it is a little jumpy on my laptop :p

two issues though, if you could help please:

1) i can't make the bomb-doors open :(

2) GPS is blank :(

when i take off, i have all dolls-eyes black, except for one on the right marked "COCKS" - i can't seem to find ANYTHING that turns it black, aka "GO" :((

can you help please mate? :D

gps blank ...if master on right panel is off then it will be blank. (using ctrl+e to start engines will start them with it in off position)

try this....

for the bombay doors....
in cock pit view look at panel on (left seat) towards the front and above the pfcu switches..
Image
but you will need to select master to on on from the right hand side panel first
Image

easy start up (not an offical start up !!!)
set park brake
Image
select master to on (right panel)
Image
select pressure head switch..
Image
select all 10 pfcu switches (all should be turned out or you cant control her)
Image
select all 4 auto fuel pumps on fuel panel
Image
set all throttles at 50%
Image
select master to start, select ignition and select rapid on switch marked normal/rapid (order not important)
Image
push rapid start button
Image

all four engines should now spool up to 50%

Does anyone else agree with me that the preceeding
posts were just about the best thing we've had on
this alleged forum? I fell down on the FLOOR!

Wish I had "IT" here to play around wit'....

As for ME, I'd like a little bit more knowledge........

Bovril - IRIS Vulcan flying superbly thanks! :D

couple of questions though:

1) which Vulcan has the bombs in?

2) can you drop them?

3) does the tail brake 'chute function? I've tried all sorts, but not seen it stream yet :(

no idea Bovril, sorry

i do know that FSX can get its knickers in a knot sometimes with the sound; from time to time, as soon as i start FSX, i get the glorious sound of four VC10 Conways, and i haven't even selected my aircraft! :p
