adding an email account

I am currently using outlook for my email, and up until now my wife`s emails have been coming through as well.

but for some reason, her flickr mails are very sporadic, I believe there is a way to check what email accounts are directed meant to coming through to my pc, can anyone please throw some light on this for me

Is this Office Outlook you are talking about or the new Outlook?

its Microsoft office 2007 outlook Pam............

her flickr mail comes and goes periodically, she still gets favourites, but has not had anything come through since 21:45 last night.

could be a flickr problem though as I don't have any issues

I take it you have checked your spam folder both in Outlook and on your server?

I have checked in her email account via the bt site and can see them there, but they are not coming through to outlook, the only way she can see who has made comments is to actually log into flickr.

Have managed to set it up so that her flickr mail now comes through to our normal email, however, jan now has her own `inbox` and the emails also end up in there, so I deleted them, but they are greyed out with lines through them, I have deleted them, but they are still there in her inbox but greyed out, is there any way that I can remove them from there.....

Why do you want to delete them from her inbox?
and what is the second folder you want to delete them from?

Jan uses her old email address only for flickr to send comments and favourites too.

we have a dedicated folder for flickr mail on our normal email for them to go too, so there is no need to have them in her `own` inbox.

the strange things is not, when she gets a flickr mail, she gets 3 of each, that must be a flickr issue though I think.

EDIT Just had a thought, I suppose I could use our normal email address ( the same one that I use ) as the one for flickr to send her mail too......

we still get the problem of 2 or 3 copies of her emails coming through, and I now have an image of the folder in question that I would like to `empty`




***UPDATE*** problem solved, I had to remove her account and put it back on manually as a pop3 account.......it turns out that the items with a line through were still on the server and as a IMAP account , there was no option to manually remove from the server.............
