talking of Chinooks - anyone know where Bravo November is at present?

Last I heard, somewhere hot and sandy. Still doing what she does best. I hope that at the end of her flying days she gets a deserved place in the aviation hall of fame. Small issue though, as a helo doesn't suffer the same level of fatigue as the strssed skin aircraft, she SHOULD be running for many more years to come.

She may even be back home soon for another refit and mod. You know, the one that went on the Mk3's then was ripped out to make them Mk 2's and will now be put in the whole fleet ~x( Defecne Procurement - and government meddling.

Too many defence and political decisions made by people who don't understand or care enough about what is required by military personal to the job professionally!!!!
