When is pilot not a pilot?

Postby Mayfly » Fri Mar 05, 2010 1:01 pm

In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.

That is pretty shocking, surely he must have had some training or he would have been noticed?

I can't help but have a sneaking admiration for the chap - I mean 10,000 safe hours on a multi jet is no mean feat ;)

Not one of his co-pilots seemed to have spotted him - so he must have been pretty darned good. :p

Not condoning it - or endorsing it - just a wry smile of admiration :D
