It is , now at T-9 mins and holding , have a problem with one of the cameras which they're discussing might scrub the launch :(

After 32 flights over 25 years , Atlantis is now a museum exhibit :(


2 to go , Discovery in September and Endeavour in November :((

Still seems surreal that it is all over for Atlantis.. The shuttle program despite the two losses was an incredible achievement and one that will be a long time in coming as far as replacement goes....

No entirely over yet. She will be prepped as the backup / safety shuttle for one of the last missions - if they do all end this year. It seems that people in congress are trying to get the shuttles a stay of execution. Perhaps they realsise it is more useful than they thought - and when its gone, thats it. No more.

Also, seen on one of those other fora - there is talk of the National Cold War Exhibition getting one of the shuttles when they retire. I'll believe it when I see it at Cosford.
