I find that story incredibly moving - fair play to her for going it alone after she left school so to speak.

An inspiration!! RIP
In memory of a very dear friend - Mike Pearson

Very fond memories of Robbie Gilvary - DTs 1st Vulcan Captain who taught DT all he knew.

You have to admire the Grit and Determination!

And I'll bet she was a lot of FUN, too!

Can't get where she did without a good Sense of Humo(u)r!

An ambassador for the female of the species right enough!! I remember seeing a couple of photos of her at one of their annual (the crews) get togethers. Gordon from SST was invited to join in and took the pictures then posted on the forum. She really LOOKED a lot of fun. I'll bet she was a really bubbly character. Gosh - only 57 - life is just not fair :(

An inspirational figure not only to the girls but to anyone who for what ever reason left school and did not follow on into further education. IT CAN BE DONE if YOU want it to. :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause: :ymapplause:
