can any of you well informed people please shed some light on something thats puzzled me for ages.

i would love to know why coventry airport is visited by chinooks merlins and a defender on a frequent basis when bagington has no millitary function. thanks guys. don

Places like Coventry are often used to keep the Aircrew "PRACTICED" on dissimilar airfields, if they only flew in and out of their home airfields they might become complacent!

Perhaps Coventry make a good cup of tea too! ;)
