The heliport at Penzance was sold to Sainsburys and the site was swiftly overrun with all manner of construction vehicles - they lifted the whole site 2 metres with stabilised ballast and built a store in a year ...recently opened ... with a new roundabout on the A30 outside it ...
Well and old chap came down the A30 recently and decided not to go around the roundabout but go over it ... - vehicle was trashed and he was trapped in his car ... cue all the emergency services and rescue vehicles ...
stay with me - we're getting there ...
Well - what was needed to get him to hospital was a helicopter ... and the irony is that, rather than the Cornwall Air Ambulance, the Search and Rescue chopper from Culdrose was called in ... a Seaking (Sikorsky S61) ... and it landed on the only green patch left untouched by Sainsburys which was end of the old heliport grass 'runway'
This shows good old Echo Bravo taking off - and as she turns at the end - by the red and white marker boards - that's where the Culdrose Seaking landed - the marker boards are still there
Irony or what

I wonder what happened to our old girls Echo Bravo and Foxtrot Juliet
