saw about this on the news earlier - not good

thankfully, the glider pilot involved survived apparently

Hate news like this. :( Somebody not keeping a good enough look out probably. Wonder if the glider pilot escaped injury.

a reminder to all I think that good weather brings out more flyers,

I know light a/c around was always a concern to DT when flying 558, & he says when he was on BBMF you could see on radar the light a/c turn to intercept the Lancaster as soon as she was identfied...
