No - still on the pad according to the 'live' link ;) Countdown hold ??

edit - Yes a 7 minute hold - just about to resume :D

That was impressive! According to some of the earlier commentary, the shuttle once rid of boosters and external tank weighs 5.9% of it's take off weight!! :D

That acceleration is just incredible off the pad - seconds pass and its doing 2000 mph - phenomenal :D

Its such a clean lift off too - Saturn V used to lumber into the sky - the shuttle leaps like a greyhound in comparison :p

Just to let you all know - ETA at Kennedy Space Center is 14.44 GMT, de orbit burn done, now its all set to drop like a stone at Mach 25!!!!!!!!! Then do the last 500 miles to Florida in about 12 mins!!!!!

Impressive stuff. And, in a similar vein to Concorde, its good to see there is a top notch replacement for it when it retires next year. Oh wait, no there isn't.
