Harriers to go and the two carriers will have no jets, one will operate with a helicopter force, the other will be mothballed!

When we do receive the JSF it will not be the VSTOL version, but the catapult operated type!

They need to get a grip in the procurement dept - sort the contracts, make sure they are all singing from the same hymn sheet on what is required based on 'fit for purpose' instead of political decisions and stop farting about changing their minds and causing/allowing over runs!! ~x( X(

They've just done a 'live' from Coningsby - thoughts are most Lincolnshire bases will be safe :D & may even benefit from others misfortunes :(

BBC managed to cock up their report from Wittering and then called various departments by the wrong names, must be a NIGHTMARE for the Base CRO!


ITV News have just broadcast a MUCH better report! I guess their reporter actually listened to what he was told! :ymapplause:
