Saw the last 2 pairs, plus the final single one today. Nothing before that, as I was busy at the Forge.

VC-10 into brunty, this afternoon, about 15:00

Looking at the weather though, I'd doubt it

Just had an email in.....

Tornado F3 (apparently), doing a flypast at Rolls Royce Filton.

Today, at 2.15 (BST). I guess its from ETPS at Boscombe.

Might have a SLOW journey back to work from the dentists.

Garry

Edit : Had to get back to work unfortunately. Had this sent through though.
Active RAF operation of the Tornado F3 ceased in 2011 following introduction of the EJ200 powered Typhoon to UK Air Defence duties, however four F3 aircraft have continued flying at RAF Boscombe Down for testing and trials of the new Meteor missile system. These trials completed in June and the four trials aircraft are currently being flown on final flights to RAF Leeming where they will be broken down for spares and disposal. The flight over Filton today (by Tornado F3 ZH552) will be the second last flight of any RAF Tornado F3 in the UK, with the last aircraft disposal flight occurring on Monday 9 July.

Apparently 558 is heading down the south the east coast today to avoid grotty weather enroute to Dunsfold so I'm hoping for a similar track to Clacton last Thursday.
