Are we looking at the same pictures - the only marking on this is the registration (on the top side out of view) , the Royal Navy ones are blue all over and this one is blue and white.

I am 100% certain this is SAS!

Came from Poole, there's an SBS Base there (with a HLS (Helicopter Landing Site)) troop transport exercises for the Olympics I guess

Then coming home along the River Withem about 3pm ish between Tattershall and Woodhall 2 more following the river towards Coningsby on approach :D

Wasn't to sure where to put this here or in the heads up thread , this thread won the coin toss .
Spotted in the march issue of Flypast as the last sentence of an article on the Shuttleworth Collection's Avro 504 [page 8] ;)
Work has also been progressing on the Collection's De Havilland DH.88 Comet Grosvenor House , with a view to potentially flying it later this year

You don't just drop news like that in the last sentance , anyway \:D/
