Don't know whether it should be posted, but I heard a Spitfire go over my house at about 19:15.
No idea which one it was.
May see one on Saturday if it flies over Spalding on its way from Pinchbeck to Horefield.

I can only recognise the "odd one out", with the Griffon engine (the 19 ??) but only if I can hear it...

I just heard 558 on the scanner, talking to something like 259.something something something, I didn't catch the whole number. Don't know which frequency that is or why I have it stored though but it must have been important for me to have physically typed it in and saved it at some point .

Photo recon Spitfire yesterday at Spalding Station.


XH558 was over Spalding again today between 1445 & 1500.
No sight of it from me, even though I was there .
A post on Facebook from a friend who lives in Spalding posted a couple of pictures.

Saw the rehearsal for the queens fly past at dinner.

Missed the 4 tornados. Just caught the Sentry and Typhoons

And then I have 3 out of focus unidentifiable photos of whatever came next (2 x Typhoons + 2 x Tornados?).

Also had the BBMF Dakota over twice, but both times I was in the loo
