What do ya recon, club together, we could have one taxying in no time, plenty of room at Brunty, I know our Lightning pilot Dennis would love a shot at a burner run, he's up for owt ;)

As for the space shuttle main engines, those are now free. Nasa advertised them for 400,000 to 800,000 US dollars each in December 2008, but no one expressed interest. So now the engines are available, along with other shuttle artefacts, for the cost of transportation and handling.
Assembly will be required, however.


Now, what could I strap those to? =))

Cool. You could could re-enact Moonraker by rolling three large tractor tyres ahead of your shuttle and seeing if you can catch them before they flatten Gilmorton.

I'd pay to watch.
