Who else is confused ?

Postby Pujgnie » Wed Feb 10, 2010 8:29 pm

With all these Ruskie MiG variants...

MiG 25 Foxbat, MiG 29 OVT, MiG 31 Foxhound, MiG 35, MiG 44.. they all look the blimmin' same.

The SU 47 is the only one that looks any different. (And why do they have so bloody many.. the world is supposed to be at peace..... ) =))
Look Mummy.. there's an aeroplane up in the sky.....

Isn't the front runner and the one to the left SU-27's? I only say that because the SU-27 always has that little bit of "body" sticking out between the exhausts whereas the MIG-29 doesn't have that. Dunno what the front right one is as it's got those "nose fins" :-?

OK, here goes.

Back row looks like (r-l) Tu160 Blackjack, 2x Tu95 Bears, Tu22 Backfire
Next - An2 26 Curl, IL 76 Candid, Beriev A-50 Mainstay, and another IL76 Candid and Curl
Next row, slightly underneath - Su20 Fitter, Su24 Fencer, Mig 25 x 2 Foxbat, Su24, Su27 Flanker
Next row - Su25 Frogfoot, Mig 31 Foxhound, Su25
Next - MiG23 Flogger, MiG29 Fulcrum, MiG29, MiG23
And the 3 at the front, all flankers (r-l) Su35, SU35 BM, Su 27.

Now the whirlybirds.......

(r-l) Looks like an Mi-24 Hind, 2 x Mi-8 Hip, 2 x Mi-28 Havoc.

OK, I might be wrong on some but how did I do. Do I win spotter of the year? \:D/

Old habits die hard I suppose. I actually wanted to go Ops Spt Int after I got binned from Fighter Control but it wasn't to be. So now, I just have to be a nerd, rather than a professional nerd.
