CH5 7:30pm - Extreme Airports

Postby Thumper » Thu Oct 14, 2010 5:11 pm

Channel Five tonight, Worlds Most Extreme Airports.

I am guessing St. Maartan, Kai Tak and St. Barts will feature but will be an interesting watch with some good footage! :D

I don't have the power to delete, that rests with the MODs! :p

Well enjoyed this and can confirm the Gibralter bit as a Nimrod I was passenger on nearly wiped itself out trying to land with all the weather against it, we ended up going to Faro in Portugal with low fuel as Lisbon would not let us land. Also there was the possibility of being shot at when taking off from the harbour end if you did not climb and turn sharp enough after lift off.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Image
