The operator is the Metropolitan Police Service.

Been offered the option of a day or night sortie and have chosen daylight as it will afford better photo opportunities.

It's no good trying to pursue the baddies in a diesel Astra is it??????

A mate used to drive a VR6 Golf. When they pulled up along side the scallies they capitulated immediately as they new damn well they weren't going to loose that Golf.

The deterrent effect is very powerful. (Bit like a load of Vulcans sat on QRA).

Astra? course not. There are plenty of cars fast enough though and cheaper (and helicopters).

It matters not either way. Whatever equipment they have they are fighting a losing battle through no fault of their own.
