The Lincolnshire Aviation Heritage is run by or at least supported by the council. The video was done by Steve Hatton who has just released a Bomber Command film - 'Into the Wind' very good by all accounts not seen it myself.

Ermmm...... NO!!

I feel quiet ashamed - Digby is 2 miles from me - all the times I've been to Waddington I have never been to their museum, never been to Thorpe Camp or the Cranwell Centre - both only 7ish miles from me.....

attractions until AFTER I had moved back
home and went to visit......

It seems quiet usual not to do things on the door step - I think it's down to knowing it's so close you never really make the effort.

That was a wonderful little film

Have to admit, I must have passed by Metheringham hundreds of times and never been and Waddington is only 4 miles away from me and didn't even know there was a museum there and not to mention Scampton's little museum (and the N's grave), although don't know if there still do tours there, haven't seen them advertised recently.

I can't recommend Thorpe Camp highly enough though, brilliant little museum .
