He's done it again

My mate the model maker extraordinaire has modified a GWS DC3 with his own design retracting undercarriage :D

Yes I know they aren't scale speed - but you can't have everything :D :p

Apparently he insisted on 3 bladed props and although it will take off from a hand launch it can't 'belly' land as we normally do for these 'foamies' as that would probably break a prop blade or bend a main motor shaft.

So it needs the wheels to save the props on landing and the wheels it comes with aren't up to much and don't retract :p

Its completely foam construction but for the money they are amazing models.
