New AIRFIX Catologue

Postby Xplumberlives » Thu Dec 23, 2010 1:12 pm

The AIRFIX 2011 catologue is out!

Highlight for me is the announcement of a 1/48th scale Merlin for 2012!

Me too, I'm hoping the one in the kit will be one of those I worked on!

That would be a good make then. It will be a fair size kit.

I have not had a go at modelling since my teens but today's kits seem so much better.

Re Airfix's recent catalogue, I fancy trying the Swordfish Mk1. Do you know what decals come with this? Is there a choice?

I am sure one of the AFTERMARKET decal manufacturers will produce some different versions!

I hope it's not as bad as some of the starter sets, they might be easy but the detail inside is terrible :(

Thanks Dave. Was LS326 in these markings? I prefer W5856 if I can get hold of those decals.
