In addition to the Jet Provosts and Jaguars, a few Tornado aircraft, Sea Kings and Gazelles were also present in the Avionics and Mechanical Training Squadron (AvMTS - part of No1 SOTT) Hangars.
As well as all the technical trades being taught the students are also expected to get to grips with aircraft marshalling. This occasionally leads to some red faces as the engineers who are cleared to taxi the Jaguars are instructed to follow the marshaller's instructions , however wayward, unless the aircraft looks like being 'Marshalled' across the grass.
The JP's are all still present but no longer are they taxied however they are still an important part of No1 SOTT - apart from 9 airframes which are up for sale. These are stored outside - across the other side of the airfield awaiting prospective buyers.
A few JPs.
