Duxford Autumn Airshow

Postby Xplumberlives » Tue Oct 16, 2012 5:43 am

Having looked at the weather forecast I journeyed to the south side of the I.W.M. at Duxford, the light was extremely variable and thankfully quite good at times.

First up was the BBMF Dakota.

The Display Hawk formated upon the Tucano for the first time that I'm aware of and they looked mighty good together.

The Seaking did a little more this time after previous short visits.

Then the locals got in on the act.

The Spitfire Mk14 had some problems and landed safely without displaying.

The light became harder to work with as the day went on.
Image

And then the STAR of the show took off.

Flying alongside Ferocious Frankie was great to see.

And then in to her own display.

And a lovely landing keeping the chute open right to the end!

Slowly, the scanner is in the loft after the major crash the desk top suffered a in early September, I guess it's a job for winter! ;)

Must have been one hell of a 'crash' Dave if the scanner ended up in the loft.......sounds more like an explosion........?? :ymdevil:

Thank you Ray I used a Canon 40D and a 100 - 400 L Series lens for these shots. ;)
