F111's for our American friend

Postby MOD » Sat Nov 03, 2012 11:21 pm

Some of you may know that my username on t'other side is Heyfordian123. This came about when I received a request for photos showing F111 nose art on Upper Heyford based aircraft from some USAFE guys who used to be based at UH.. The yahoo site was USA based and somehow they gave me that username. A few of them had designed the nose art that was prevalent in the 80s on F and EF111s. Any way here are a few Varks from those days.

What a SUPERB set of photographs, Ian :ymapplause:

Especially that last one!

And what a shame they fly no more.........

The Aussies love them, too, you know....

Thank you ;)

Super shots Ian. I would give my left arm to see these fly again.

Very nice Ian, great to see some ordnance in the shots too! :ymapplause:
