Have you edited some of these to make them look old? What happened to the sunshine?????!!!!!!

Yeah, all of them have adjustments applied. I assume you mean the MiG shot? That was a 'film look' preset I made, just messing about with it. There's a few others which have point curve adjustments which 'change' black to grey which gives the washed out look

Yes "washed out". Not my cup of tea but, I'm old fashioned.

The washed out look was one that I had liked the look of, saw it originally on the Canon Photography forums and decided to give it a go on an Aviation Subject - sometimes clipped shadows look better grey than black in my opinion, especially on B&W. Buuut you can't please everyone!

fabric-covered rather than alumin(i)um???
