This is me and Luca James Lynton, my first , and so far my only grandson. Taken on the day he was born..

His twin didn't survive. Neither did his other 4 predecessors. 'Shell (we christened her Michelle but nobody uses that name - unless she annoys me ) was at her wit's end and Chris and I were getting very, very worried ...

'Shell had had several ops and hormone therapy and IVFs and eventually Luca was born. Thank - whomsoever!!!

Phew it's good to get that off my chest as this has been overshadowing our lives for the last 5 years.

As a blunt Yorkshireman I would never have dreamed that I would post something so personal as this but somehow I feel that you 'lot' will understand.

Ian, sorry to spoil such a good idea, but barbecues and bonfires are NOT permitted anywhere on the airfield, as Mayfly suspected.
So its back to cupcakes !

Kermit beat me to it. Apart from the airfield rules and regs, your proposed location would be rather too close to 16,000lbs of JetA1. I think you would find Wellesbourne Fire and Rescue would damp down your enthusiasm long before the burgers were done. :))
