we have a Canberra- Some Hunters-Provost's, No Buccaneer's- or the like.....Just one Harrier or Jaguar would be

The trouble is, it won't be just the Cold War stuff that the CAA would clamp down on. All restored aircraft would be under extra scrutiny and may make the cost of flying them prohibitive to the vast majority of owners. The entire Shuttleworth collection, all the DC3s, the Rapides, Spitfires, Hurricanes, Mustangs etc. The list would be a long one. I would love to see a Lightning fly as it is one of the most enduring images from my boyhood, but it will never happen, I'm afraid.
