Hopefully update the ongoing restoration of the GA11 here, however no good at uploading photos so if anyone can on my behalf i'll send the latest updates to you

managed to repair the left hand aileron tip cap this saturday, which was good as it's probably the first time i've managed to start and finish a job in one day at bruntingthorpe, the problem with the teleflex control runs continues and more head scratching is required, we hope to be able to get undercover working conditions soon, and we'll then progress engine fit and repaints

I for one would love to see WT806 (ground) running again as I saw it at Yeovilton, as #838, on several occasions.

Anyone at Brunty fancy giving us a short sit-rep regarding the work you have done, are doing, there since December 2010?

I've not been down as often recently but can give you a quick rundown of what i know

The gnat in the rub is currently having many patches made up to repair the wheels up damage it incurred a number of years ago

the meteor is off to glouscester and the main spar section has gone already

both the grey and blue tailed JP are mostly serviceable, ie running but still need tweeks to make them better

the vixen needs anti det runs but i think is short of fuel and a door needs riveting back on and various other snags to get sorted

xx487 needs a windscreen still and when that is done the container full of restored panels can go back in plus LP HP controls as we robbed them for 806

Great stuff (LOVE the Hunter)

Thanks to the bolton lads (Chris and steve) AC power is back up running and the radios show signs of life still working on the ignition circuit, and those blasted teleflexes she also got a jetwashing today in anticipation of re paint
