Thought I'd share some pics from the arrival, seems more appropriate to put them here than to dilute our Victor 231 thread any further.
After being delayed leaving Brough due to numpties not understanding the words 'no parking', she finally arrived at her new home around lunchtime. First sighting. Didn't know wings were an optional extra when spec'ing a MAN TGA tractor unit!

Turning onto the Airfield industrial estate

She then went onto the airfield in order to turn and get a straight run into the museum, through the access where Lindy and the Nimrod park. Here she says hi to the Nimrod, who's parked on the QRA pan

Final run in to the museum.

Stopping to greet her 2 sisters already in residence

Before heading off round the back of the hangar to be offloaded.The TBAG guys soon had her hooked up to the waiting crane. Here she takes to the air once more

And by close of play yesterday she was sat on her gear and the wings were folded down. Looking forward to seeing her lined up with these 2!

Helped with the transportation of one of the raspberry ripple Bucc's from West Freugh to Wellesbourne many years ago. We had to remove the wings and tail and fit it into a frame and then twist it round about 30 degrees from horizontal to meet the width restriction's imposed at the time. It was a good Bucc only flown about 1000hrs finally went down to South Africa.
