Tell everyone I designed the stand, then stick a bloody great label over the picture so no-one can see it ;)

One Olympus 301 has twice the power of a complete F1 starting grid.
XM655 has four of them, all serviceable.

love it!!! by the way i was told there are a few olympus crates at rolls royce might be worth asking if they contain the engines, i will ask tomorow which site.

hey 655 guys, just wondering whats happening about the engine drop you were planning because of the corrosion problem RR highlighted earlier in the year - any news or updates?

There isnt an access panel , we have remove the spine skin to repair . The area under repair is around an air duct.

XM 655 is in a remarkable condition considering she is outside in all weathers.We have been monitoring the corrosion on the spine panels for a couple of years now and our chief airframe engineer Fred decided to remove one for inspection. :D

Now you can see why we haven't updated you about the RR/elf'n'safety problem. We have been working full time to organise the visit to Woodford.

With the XM603 Spares project finished, we will now go back to sorting out the (probably non-existent) corrosion problem.
